Heritage around

The Auvergne has a wonderful history and the surroundings of the campsite will allow you to discover its heritage nuggets !

Natural heritage
Our Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park is the largest in France and is home to a volcanic diversity that is unique in the world and which has earned the Chaine des Puys its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
To find out more about the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park

This diversity has shaped all the landscapes: from the Limagne plain to the Cézallier plateau or the alpine ridges of the Monts Dore, ending with the glacial valleys of the Sancy (nature reserves) where you can enjoy a biodiversity unique in Europe.

Architectural heritage
The historical, architectural and cultural heritage bears witness to a rich 2000 year history from the Roman-Gaulic period to the end of the 19th century. All these eras are abundantly represented by vestiges and remarkable monuments. The castles of the Auvergne, the Romanesque churches and the medieval towns are extraordinary machines for going back in time.

Gastronomic heritage
We have the recipe for a memorable holiday in the land of cheese and charcuterie: a pinch of gastronomic stops to taste our ancestral recipes, a hint of visits to producers and to accompany all this with an Auvergne wine or a local mineral water. As you can see, we make it a point of honour to promote our local products.
